WELCOME TO THE RAINFORD TRUST

The Rainford Trust is a grant making charity set up by members of the Pilkington family back in 1973.
 

The Rainford Trust’s objectives are to apply money for charitable purposes and the charitable institutions within the St Helens MBC area in particular (St Helens being the home of the original Pilkington Brothers’ glass making industry) and other places in the UK and overseas.
 

The Trust considers appeals in the following categories: , Welfare (general inc. disability, young and old), Education, Humanities, Environmental and Medical (research).
